What about Birkenstock repair? How do we do it? Typically, we cut/ sand/ remove the soles from your favorite Birkenstock sandals / shoes... Then we use cutting edge adhesives to laminate the new soles to your favorite Birkenstocks. Then we trim the edges, seal the cork, clean the uppers, and make them look beautiful!
Please note that we use official, original Birkenstock materials to repair your Birkenstock shoes. Unlike most shoe companies, Birkenstock does sell their "original replacement parts" to a few select repair shops such as ourselves to enable us to restore them to their original condition.

? Can I change sizes when I have my Birkenstocks repaired? Yes, you can change sizes with Classic style sandals, up or down one size. We don't charge extra when doing this Birkenstock repair, only the normal fees apply.
? What about the soft footbeds and are they worth it? They can be very comfortable, but I have to add a caveat here. Some people find Birkenstocks to be like an orthotic for their feet, I often have people tell me they could not walk if it weren't for their Birkenstocks. In cases like theirs, I strongly suggest the customer stick with what works for them: like the old adage "if it ain't broke, don't fix it". Another warning I have about switching over to the soft footbeds, is that they are not as durable as the originals. This is due to the cushioned layer, which simply does not last as long as the original hard cork beds.
? Do you resole the Footprint styles? Sorry, no. Due to the inconsistent availability of these styles we are no longer able to offer this service.
? Do you charge extra for large sizes? No, now everyone can afford Birkenstock repair!
? Do you repair CUSTOM Birkenstocks? Of course! It's difficult to give a price without seeing them, though, feel free to send us a picture or 2 (or 3).
? I'm not sure what my Birkenstocks need: recraft, cork repair, just a resole or heel taps? Feel free to send us pictures via email, or just send Your Birkenstocks in. We'll be happy to make recommendations.
? What kind of payment methods do you accept? You can fill out our shipping form, there's a place for credit card information. We can also call you for the credit card numbers, if you'd prefer. We also bill through Paypal, just write your email address on the shipping form and check the Paypal box. We will send you a Paypal invoice.

How do I start this
process? You can fill out our
shipping
form, and include it with your shoes. The easiest way for most people to ship to us is to go to the
Post Office and ask for a large Priority Mail "Tyvek" envelope. These are
usually fine for one pair. They also have free Priority Mail boxes if you are sending
more than that. The Post Office's Priority Mail is very fast and efficient, we
use it all the time and typically see a 2-4 day shipping time within the USA.
