WE REPAIR AND RESOLE BIRKENSTOCKS
We have been working on Birkenstocks for many years. People often bring them in because the soles are worn thin, the heels have worn unevenly, the cork needs attention, or the sandals simply need to be freshened up and made useful again.
One reason people hold onto their Birkenstocks is simple: once a pair is broken in well, it can be hard to replace. A comfortable pair that fits your feet just right is worth repairing when the uppers and footbeds are still in good shape.
We do practical, local Birkenstock repair work here in Salem, Oregon, with the goal of helping you get more life out of a pair you already know and like.

Why people repair Birkenstocks
Many Birkenstock owners would rather repair a good pair than start over with a new one. Once the sandal has shaped itself to your foot and proven comfortable, repair can make a lot more sense than replacement.
COMMON BIRKENSTOCK WORK WE DO
Depending on the condition of the sandals, we may be able to replace worn soles, add heel taps, repair cork, or do other general repair work to help extend the life of the pair.
The best candidates are Birkenstocks with uppers and footbeds that are still basically sound, even if the bottoms are worn down or the cork needs attention.

HEEL TAPS
Heel taps are a great option for people who tend to wear down the heels (or toes) of their Birkenstocks more quickly than normal.
These are made from a dense, durable material that lasts much longer than the original EVA sole material found on most Birkenstock sandals.
Heel and toe taps are inlaid directly into the sole — they do not raise the heel and do not change how the sandal feels when you walk. They sit flush with the sole, so you hardly notice they are there.
Because they are made from a tougher material, they take the wear instead of the original sole. We have been installing these for years, and our customers have been very happy with the results.

Typical Birkenstock Repairs
Birkenstock repair pricing depends on what the pair needs. Some sandals need only minor work, while others need more complete sole replacement or cork repair.
