We know shoes... and have been resoling/ repairing them since the late 1970's. George (our shop cobbler), has rebuilt thousands pairs of shoes and boots in his 40 years in the business. He knows what works and what doesn't...
We use the finest Vibram soles available to recraft your SAS shoes, restoring them to better than factory new condition. We do quite a few of these for our local customers, their repeat business and feedback is testament to our success working with and repairing SAS shoes.
The Vibram soles are made of the Vibram rubber "Compound", a 1/4" thick, durable outsole material. The Soletech are a rubber material.
Vibram 1030
Most popular! VIBRAM 1030 made of Gumlite, superior in durability and traction to original SAS soles. The deep lugs give excellent grippping power.
Vibram 1328
Slightly different Vibram material than the Vibram 1030, this soles also has gripping power. We put this on for an elderly customer who lives in icy conditions here in Oregon and she called back to profusely exclaim "the night and day difference" from the original soles.
SOLETECH soles
Not Vibram, not a lug sole, for those that prefer a smoother profile. Thin and lightweight, but very durable.
